Join the Costa Rica Living Group online. Read the archives. Ask questions. Make yourself known.

Make a list of pros and cons. Talk yourself out of the cons ("San Jose is only a 2-hour flight from most major cities.") Justify the pros ("See? Only a 2-hour flight to visit!")

Start letting go. Start packing. Set a moving date. If you've dreamed it, you can do it. Join us.

Thank you for visiting the Costa Rica Blue Book! The CRBB is put together by Sara T., a recovering REALTOR® from the United States now living in Costa Rica.

In January 2006, Sara packed up her family and 30 years of a life in Key West on basically a whim and a prayer and moved to Costa Rica for a year. The year is over, but they can't leave. Not yet. You can read their story here.

Life in Costa Rica is something... breathtaking, frustrating, hilarious. The Costa Rica Blue Book is aimed at taking some of that frustration out of knowing what's around, what's to do, where the heck "that place" is.
